Meetings will highlight history topics

LONG BRANCH - The city Historical Association meetings scheduled for this spring will include presentations on topics of interest related to local history.

"The United States Life Saving Service, a Final Rescue" will be presented March 28 at 7:30 p.m. at city hall on Broadway;

"The Seven Railroad Lines of Long Branch" will be the topic of the meeting on April 25 at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.

"American Pattern and Pressed Glass" will be the presentation at the May 23 meeting, which will be held at 7 p.m. at the Long Branch Main Library on Broadway.

"History of West Long Branch" will be presented May 30 at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.

The meetings are free and open to the public.
