Delia "Delie" M. Tise Lemm Mrs. Lemm, 102, of Melrose, Minn., died Jan. 16, 2007, at Pine Villa Care Center, Melrose. Born in Melrose, she relocated to Canada in the early 1900s prior to relocating to Melrose. She was the co-owner and operator of Tise's Bar, Melrose. Prior to that, she owned Delia's Sandwich Shop and Delia's Beauty Shoppe, and was a teacher in the Melrose Public School System. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Melrose. She was active in Melrose, which declared Delia Lemm Day in 2004 in honor of her 100th birthday. She was involved in the Daughters of Isabella, St. Elizabeth Society, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. She enjoyed singing, and was a talented pianist. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo, in 1936; a son, LaMonde, in 2006; and her siblings, Alma Sandbrink, Ihrma Tise, Helen Tise, Ervin Edwin Tise, LaVerne Tise, Lorraine Hall, Leola Tise, Maretta Schneider and Melvin Tise. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, LaNita and Frank Bennett of Mount Airy, Md., and Ronelda Kinsey of Long Branch; a daughter-in-law, Betty Lemm of Williams, Minn.; a brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Virginia Tise of Melrose, Minn.; a sister-in-law, Lucille Tise of Montevideo, Minn.; a brother-in-law, James Hall of Reidsville, N.C.; 19 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, with burial at the church's cemetery. Arrangements were by Patton-Schad Funeral Home, Melrose.
