Celeb will appear at luncheon

Media personality Wendy Williams will make an appearance at The Ocean Chapter of Drifters Inc. luncheon fashion show Saturday at Branches, West Long Branch.

Doors open at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon.

Williams, who grew up in Ocean Township, will present the Third Annual Wendy Williams Scholarships to a female and a male student who plans to pursue a career in communications. The winners will also receive internships at WBLS, New York.

Williams is the host of an afternoon radio show and the author of four books.

Karen Antonelli-Cinotti, of Karen's Boutique in Spring Lake, will preview the spring line. Winters Furs, Red Bank, will show a selection of furs and some new spring outerwear. Tim Brown of Dr. Boogie Inc. will provide background music.
