The Jersey Shore Eagles U11 boys travel baseball team will hold tryouts in January for the spring season. The team is based in Middletown with most games played on Sundays. To be eligible, players must be born after April 30, 1995. For more information, contact Joe at JSEagles11@aol.com.

Maverick Lacrosse League (www.eteamz.active.com/cnlax) is seeking part-time head and assistant coaches for the 2007 girls program, grades three to eight, and boys, first to 12th grades. Both head and assistant coaches will aid in all areas designated by the girls or boys program heads. There is at least one practice held during the week with at least one game on the weekend. No experience of the game is required, but it is preferred. The season starts in March and runs through mid-June. The Jersey Shore Breeze, a 12U boys travel baseball team, currently has roster openings for the spring and tournament season. Confirmed tournaments for 2007 include Cooperstown Dreamspark (June 23). All interested parties please go to the Web site, www.jerseyshorebreeze.
