Roger G. Fary
Mr. Fary, of Andover Township, died Jan. 11, 2007, following a lengthy illness. Born in Eatontown, he resided in Andover Township the past 46 years. He was employed by Pearson Education, Cedar Knolls, retiring in 1993. Prior to that, he was a salesman for the Follett Publishing Co., Chicago. He also was a teaching principal at various grade schools. He was a graduate of Long Branch High School. Mr. Fary is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joan; a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Linda; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Steven, and Barbara and William; a brother, Malcolm Fary of Tennessee; and four grandchildren. Arminda Maria "Lynn" Lamberson
Mrs. Lamberson, 69, of Tinton Falls, died Jan. 7, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Fair Haven prior to moving to Tinton Falls. She was a former bookkeeper at Shore Point Distributors, Little Silver. She was a communicant at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She enjoyed time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Leon Lamberson; two daughters, Regina Allison of Ocean Township, and Michele Lamberson of Tinton Falls; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Carol Malinconico of Florida; and two grandsons. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Anthony's Church. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Rachel Cannella
Mrs. Cannella, 82, of Red Bank, died Jan. 12, 2007, at Care One at Wall. She was a lifelong resident of Red Bank. She was a sales associate at Annie Sez, Shrewsbury. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, and dancing. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald; and a sister, Josephine DePonte Thompson. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Margaret Cannella of Florida; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Peter and Eleanor DePonte, Angelo and Ruby DePonte, all of Red Bank; and Vincent and Joan DePonte of Florida; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dolly and Marvin Graman of the Lincroft section of Middletown, and Marie and Peter Foster of Red Bank; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. John Chakamian
Mr. Chakamian, 75, of Red Bank, died Jan. 9, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he resided in Red Bank the past 39 years. He was employed at Bayshore Flood Control, Union Beach. Prior to that, he was a retired chemical engineer at Favorite Plastics, Brooklyn, N.Y. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Stepanos Armenian Church, Elberon section of Long Branch. He was a member of the Knights of Vartan, and Keyport American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jenev; two sons and daughters-in-law, John Michael and Cindy Chakamian of Middletown, and Robert and Alyssa Chakamian of Sparta; a daughter and son-in-law, Sona and Glenn Markarian of Oradell; and four grandchildren. A funeral service was held at St. Stepanos Church. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
