Antoinette Roebling Bunce Schildge

Mrs. Schildge, 96, of Middletown, died Jan. 1, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she moved to Middletown in 1942. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Middletown, and the Navesink Garden Club, Middletown. Mrs. Schildge was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Adam, in 1993. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Antonia S. Malone and John Rafter of Middletown, and Elvira and George Maniatty of Allentown, Pa.; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Adam T. Jr. of San Francisco, George H. and Janie of Colts Neck, Richard L. of Ocean Township, and Ronald F. and Lyn of Glen Gardener; 21 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Christ Church, followed by burial at Bay View Cemetery, Middletown.
