Center announces drives scheduled for January Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrewsbury, has announced the following local blood drives: + Jan. 9 from 3-7 p.m. at The ARC of Monmouth, 1158 Wayside Road, Wayside section of Ocean Township + Jan. 13 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., a Fair Haven community drive at Fair Haven Firehouse, River Road + Jan. 17 from 6-9 p.m. at St. Anselm's Roman Catholic Church, Wayside Road, Wayside. The donation process takes about an hour. Donors must also complete a medical history interview and have a mini-physical (temperature, iron, pulse and blood pressure screening). Interested donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. All donors must present signature ID at time of registration.
