Milestones Wilson–Chavez Tara and David Wilson Tara Marie Chavez, daughter of Patricia and Dean R. Chavez of Long Branch, was married Oct. 14, 2006, to David Wilson, son of Barbara and Keith Wilson of Matthews, N.C. The Rev. Ian Trammell performed the ceremony at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, where the bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Andrea Kaplan. Bridesmaids were Melissa Kleman, Janine Graebe, Kelly Flammia, Vicki Clewell and Kate Wodyka. Best man was Jason Morris. Ushers were Brian Switzer, Bailey Sterret, Ben Cauthen, Ryan Judson and Steve McCaskill. After a reception at The Breakers, Spring Lake, the couple left on a honeymoon to Hawaii and San Francisco. The bride is a graduate of Long Branch High School. She received her bachelor of arts degree in corporate communications at Elon (N.C.) University. She received her teaching degree at Monmouth University, West Long Branch. She is a teacher at Little Run Elementary School, Fairfax, Va. Her husband is a graduate of Sun Valley (N.C.) High School. He received his bachelor of science degree in business administration at Elon University. He is a senior district manager at XO Communications in the Virginia and Washington, D.C., area. The couple reside in Fairfax, Va.
