Watercolor landscapes at WLB library

“Egrets Flying” by Leon Mroczkowski
Watercolor landscapes by Leonia Mroczkowski are on display during the month of December at the West Long Branch Public Library, 95 Poplar Ave.

Included in the exhibit are 19 paintings that reveal her love of the landscape. Her latest work has received recognition in juried shows, the most recent being the Santo Pezzutti Award at the New Jersey Watercolor Society juried show at the Monmouth Museum. This award was given for innovative use of watercolor.

A resident of Shark River Hills, Neptune, she has studied with the Washington School of Art, the DuCret School of Art and the Art Students League in New York.

For more information, call the library at (732) 222-5993 or visit www.wlbpl.org.
