Leona May Marshall
Mrs. Marshall, 72, of Freehold, died Dec. 8, 2006, at home. Born in Long Branch, she had resided in Freehold for most of her life. Prior to retiring in 1993, she was employed as a certified nurse aide at the John L. Montgomery Medical Home, Freehold Township, for more than 20 years. She was a former member of the Pocahontas Auxiliary of the Red Man’s Lodge, Freehold, and a former den mother and Brownie leader for her children’s troops. Mrs. Marshall was predeceased by her husband, Robert H., in 2002, and a son-in-law, the Rev. Russell S. Rowe. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Dana Marshall of Freehold Township; two daughters, Marjorie Rowe of Frackville, Pa., and Roberta Marshall of Freehold; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sandra Taylor of Freehold; and two grandchildren. A memorial service was held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Freehold, with the Freeman Funeral Home, also Freehold, in charge of arrangements.
