Theatre Brut Festival

New Jersey Repertory Company, 179 Broadway, Long Branch, will present its 3rd Annual Theatre Brut Festival of short plays.

This season's theme is "The Seven Deadly Sins." The 28 plays selected from more than 500 submissions will be presented Nov. 17 and 18 at 8 p.m., and Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.

Each show will be presented only once during the three days - 28 plays, 28 directors, more than 60 actors will participate in this unique event.

Theatre Brut is the creative impulse unfettered by social and artistic convention. According to NJ Rep, the festival has comedy, drama, music, theater of the absurd, and everything in between - a smorgasbord of raw theater. Tickets are $30 per day or $60 for all three days.
