Former Shore Regional High School standout Briana Bouldin has been named to the College at Florham Athletics Department Hall of Fame. Bouldin was officially inducted on Oct. 14. In her playing days at FDU, she was a two-sport star that excelled in both basketball and field hockey. She was named the Athletics Department Female Athlete of the Year in 1998-99.

On the hardwood, she was team MVP in both 1997-98 and 1998-99. She was named Second Team All-Freedom Conference in 1998-99. Bouldin is fifth all-time at FDU in career free throw attempts (435), seventh in career points (1,123) and third in career rebounds (834).

She was also a First Team All-MAC field hockey selection in 1999 and a Second Team All-MAC selection in 1998, both on defense. In 1999, she was named Team MVP for the Devils.

She is currently the assistant medical billing manager of a medical office and an AAU basketball coach for eighth- and ninth-graders. She resides in Long Branch.

Marc Hyndsman of Oceanport was named to the 2006 All-Star Team while playing for the Graham Roughnecks in the Texas Collegiate Baseball League in Weatherford, Texas. The Texas Collegiate League is one of the premier college summer baseball leagues in which players use wood bats to showcase their skills for Major League Baseball scouts. He is currently attending Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tenn., on a baseball scholarship.
