Obituaries Eric Robert Schreck Mr. Schreck, 23, of Silverdale, Wash., died Oct. 9, 2006, at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, Mass. Born in Calais, Maine, he was raised in Silverdale, Wash. He lived in Eatontown from December 2005 to September 2006, and was employed by PNC Bank, Wyckoff Road. He was a seaman apprentice in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. He attended Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, North Adams, from 2002 to 2005; and a semester in 2005 at the Disney College Program in Orlando, Fla., as an aquatic rescue professional. Mr. Schreck was predeceased by his father, Peter J. Schreck, in May. He is survived by his mother, Marlene Mitchell, his stepfather, Michael Mitchell, and a sister, Shalene Mitchell, all of Silverdale, Wash.; his paternal grandparents, Kathleen and Joseph Schreck of Belgrade Lakes, Maine; and his stepmother, Susan Schreck, stepsisters Emilija and Beth Schreck, and stepbrother Timothy Schreck, all of Edgartown, Mass. A memorial service was held at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Donations may be made to the Eric R. George Warren Mr. Warren, 81, of North Brunswick, died Oct. 31, 2006, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in North Brunswick the past 30 years. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 6572, North Brunswick. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Zsamboky Warren in 1999. He is survived by two sons, George A. Warren of Ocean, and James Warren of Connecticut; a sister, Lilly Norbut of Matawan; a brother, Harry Warren of Colts Neck; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Church. Burial was at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Richard C. Bertodatti Mr. Richard "Dick" Bertodatti Sr., 65, of Colts Neck, died Oct. 26, 2006, at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark. He worked as a sales representative for Allied Building Supplies, Bound Brook. Mr. Bertodatti graduated from Power Memorial High School, New York City and attended St. John's University, Jamaica, N.Y., where he achieved All-American and was signed by the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club. He enjoyed thoroughbred racing and bred and raced horses from his home, Foxmoor Farm. He enjoyed winner's circle successes at Belmont, Aqueduct and Monmouth Park. Mr. Bertodatti was a communicant at St. Mary's Church, Colts Neck. He was preceded in death by his father, Dominick Bertodatti and a grandson. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Maureen E. Shaw Bertodatti; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard Jr. and Marissa of Fair Haven; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Matthew Jensen of Long Branch; Jill and Kevin Condon of Colts Neck; Jodi and Gregory Foster of Pt. Pleasant Beach; 10 grandchildren; and his mother, Maria Bertodatti of Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, followed by Interment at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Marlboro.
