SICA presents 3rd annual international exhibit

The Shore Institute of the Con-temporary Arts in Long Branch will present its third annual international juried exhibition with juror Robert Curcio. The exhibition begins Oct. 13 and runs through Nov. 10.

To mark the opening, a reception will take place Sunday, Oct. 15,

3-6 p.m. Many of the exhibiting artists will be present.

This year, 171 artists submitted 238 artworks for consideration. From these entries, the juror selected 43 works to be shown.

Artists selected to exhibit this year are Emily Anderson, Amanda Best, Patricia Cudd, Dana Filibert, Mary Gaynier, Mathew Gehring, Victoria Goro-Rapoport, Marty Henley, Lori Hepner, Jonathan Hils, Harry Hukkinen, Matt Irie & Dominick Talvacchio, Kathryn Jill Johnson, Young Kim, Carmen Hay Kolodzey, Oscar Londono, Anne McKeown, Mike Miller, Michael Misurell, Robert O'Connor,

M.A. Papanek-Miller, Ed Reilly, Arturo Rodriguez and Eric Standley.

SICA's mission is to increase the general public's accessibility, awareness and appreciation of the contemporary arts in central New Jersey.

The arts center is located at 20 Third Ave. Gallery hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, 1-5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
