2 city residents face drug charges LONG BRANCH - An ongoing investigation by the city police department came to an end earlier this month with the arrest of two city residents who now face several counts of drug charges. On Sept. 14, members of the Long Branch Policing Unit and Patrol Division arrested Fernando Guilloty, 34, and Gloria Jimenez, 49, both of Liberty Street. Guilloty and Jimenez are being charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police reports. Guilloty is additionally being charged with possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a park, according to reports. The arrests stem from an investigation into Guilloty's activities, according to reports, which state that police recovered approximately 4 ounces of cocaine with a street value of approximately $5,500. Police also recovered a large sum of cash and seized a vehicle, according to reports. Guilloty's bail was set at $20,000 with no 10 percent option, and Jimenez was released on a summons, according to reports.
