Marie Adele Malone MacGregor

Mrs. MacGregor, 69, of Rumson, died May 24 at home. She resided in Short Hills, and Monmouth Beach, prior to moving to Rumson 25 years ago. She was a placement consultant at Prudential, Eatontown, PIC Employment Services, and Maple Career Associates. She was also a personal counselor at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She owned and was the primary artist at Portraits in Pastel. She was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She was a member of and volunteer at Pacific Opera Company of Monmouth County. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. MacGregor; and a brother, Christopher Malone. She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Lori of Colts Neck, Stuart and Trish of Oceanport, Mark of Red Bank, and Ian of New York City; four daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Tom Centanni of Glen Ridge, Pamela and Patrick Sullivan of Chatham, Kristy and Larry Pucillo of Mendham, and Didi and Chris Brignola of Fair Haven; her companion, Robert Prisco; and 18 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. James Church. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to Meridian Hospice, Monmouth Shores Corporate Park, 1340 A Campus Parkway, Neptune 07753.

Dorothy Mary Blasucci

Dorothy Mary Blasucci, 64, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Tinton Falls, died June 2 in Munroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala. Prior to her retirement in 2002, she was a school nurse with the Monroe Township Board of Education. Surviving are her husband, Francis; three children, Roseann Woodring of Edison, Christine Anderson of Tinton Falls and Frank Blasucci of Chicago; her mother, Dorothy Modica; two brothers, Frank Modica and Ralph Modica; four sisters, Lenora Riso, Laura Allen, Alice Genzale and Rose Fishler; and four grandchildren, Dylan Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Devin Woodring and Taylor Blasucci.

Willie James Brown

Mr. Brown, 88, of Freehold, died June 4 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Augusta, Ga., he had lived in Farmingdale before moving to Freehold 44 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1983, he worked for Waltrich Plastics, Tennent section of Manalapan, for 15 years. He had previously been employed by Washington Forge Inc., Englishtown, for 22 years. He was also a member of Overcoming Faith Temple, Freehold. Mr. Brown was predeceased in 1988 by a son, Willie Brown Jr. Surviving are his wife, Jeannette Green Brown; two sons, Roosevelt Brown of Freehold and Sylvester Brown of Long Branch; three daughters, Margaret McCloud of Trenton, Nellie Manning of Freehold and Ethel Devereaux of Toms River; three brothers, Floyd and George Brown, both of Brielle, and Wille Brown of Belmar; two sisters, Rosalie Paige of Brielle and Minnie Earl of Sanford, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services were held at the Church of God, Freehold, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Jane Freeman Durie Titus

Mrs. Titus, 93, of Applewood Estates, Freehold Township, died June 6 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was a longtime resident of Freehold. Mrs. Titus was an elementary teacher in the Freehold Township School System for 27 years. She was predeceased by her first husband, Capt. Albert E. Durie Jr., who died as a prisoner of war in the Pacific theater of World War II in early 1945; her second husband, Leonard T. Titus; and brothers Walter and F. Gilday Freeman. Mrs. Titus graduated from Freehold High School, Freehold Borough, and Marymount College, Tarrytown, N.Y., and was captain of the basketball team at both schools. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and William Westerfield of Little Silver; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
