Obituaries Bernard A. "Bud" Dupree II Mr. Dupree, 69, of Fair Haven, died May 20 in Red Bank. Born in Saranac Lake, N.Y., he resided in Little Silver, prior to moving to Fair Haven 46 years ago. He was a Life Member, former Fire Chief, past captain three times, exempt member, past treasurer, and past president of Fair Haven Fire Company, which he joined in 1962. He was a communicant of and was a vestry member at Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion, Fair Haven. He founded in 1996 and was a member of the Mid-Monmouth Fire Police Association, and was a member of the New Jersey State Fire Chief's Association, and NewJersey State Fire Police Association. He served on the Fair Haven Board of Education 27 years, and was a former member of the Red Bank Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs. He was predeceased by a brother, Brad Dupree. He is survived by his wife, Ann Harvey Dupree; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tripp and Maureen Dupree of Rumson, Jeffrey E. and Nancy Dupree of Madison, and Chris and Stephanie Dupree of Neptune City; two stepdaughters, Kathy Ferrigno of Park City, Utah, and Linda and her husband Alex Davis of Gloucester, N.C.; a stepson, John McQueen of Norton, Va.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Paul Dupree, and John and Debra Dupree, all of Long Branch; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A funeral service was held at Episcopal Church. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to Fair Haven Fire Company, River Road, Fair Haven 07704.
