Art exhibit & workshop at Harbor School Three-hundred special-needs students will display their unique and creative artwork May 11 and 12 in an exhibit at the Harbor School, 240 Broad St., Eatontown. The students attend Alpha, Gateway and Harbor Schools, located in Lakewood, Carteret and Eatontown. The schools serve children ages 3 to 21 years, offering techniques and strategies to meet attention deficits, cognitive delays and visual and auditory perception impairment. In addition to the academics, the schools offer life skills and transition training and career development. All facilities are approved by the New Jersey Department of Education. The exhibit will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days. An art workshop titled "30-Minute Masterpieces" will be held on Friday, May 12, at 11:30 a.m. Members of the public, parents, community members and educators are invited to attend.
