Free beach concert series at Sandy Hook
This summer, every Wednesday at 6 p.m. (weather permitting) the 2005 Summer Concert Series will be presented at Beach Area E on Sandy Hook.
The series will run from June 22 - Aug. 31 and will feature top local performers.
Each week over 2,000 people listen and dance to the music, relax and enjoy picnic dinners. The concerts end promptly at 8:15 p.m.
Since 1992, the Sandy Hook Foundation has organized the concert series, and to date over 150,000 people have enjoyed these special evening performances.

July 6, Next Generation of Soul (rock/disco)
July 13, Candle Brothers (folk rock)
July 20, BethAnne Clayton Band (contemporary country)
July 27, Joe Bonanno, The Godsons of Soul (rock)
Aug. 3, Tim McLoone & The Shirleys (rock ’n’ roll)
Aug. 10, Jazz Lobsters (jazz/big band)
Aug. 17, Nicola (contemporary)
Aug. 24 Round the House (Irish music, pipers & dancers)
Aug. 31, Line Drive (Latin/jazz/big band/rock)
Sept. 7, rain date
The Sandy Hook Foundation was established in 1989 as the official friends group of the National Park Service at Sandy Hook.
