The Ocean Township High School baseball team will be conducting a Youth Baseball Clinic on Sunday, May 15. The clinic will start at 10 a.m. on the OTHS varsity baseball field and end at 2 p.m. This fund-raiser will cost each player $30 and all baseball players 7 years old to eighth grade are welcome. Reserve a spot today by mailing: player’s name, age and fee to Ocean Baseball, P.O. Box 504, Oakhurst, NJ 07755. Check-in and walk-up registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. There will also be a weeklong camp June 26 to July 1. For information or reservations, call (732) 933-0050.

Red Bank Catholic High School has announced that Casey Walko has signed a Division I National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Central Connecticut State University. Walko, a four-year varsity starter, has been the Caseys’ catcher for the last three seasons. He is a versatile athlete who was also a three-year starter in football.
