Community Bulletin Board Center schedules four blood drives during May Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrewsbury, has announced the following local blood drives: • May 10 from 5-9 p.m. at St. Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church, 240 Broad St., Eatontown • May 1 from 6-9 p.m. at the Italian American Association, Valley Road, Ocean • May 20 from 1-4 p.m. at the fitness room at Navesink House, 40 Riverside Ave., Red Bank • May 25 from 2:30-5:30 p.m., a Little Silver Education Association drive at Point Road School, Little Silver. The donation process takes about an hour. Donors must also complete a medical history interview and have a mini-physical (temperature, iron, pulse and blood pressure screening). Interested donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. All donors must present signature ID at time of registration. Donations may also be made at Central Jersey Blood Center, 494 Sycamore Ave., Shrewsbury. To schedule an appointment, call the center at (732) 842-5750.
