Russell P. Minton Jr.

Mr. Minton, 53, of Ocean Grove, died Dec. 14 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident of Monmouth County. He was an ADS ads processor at the Asbury Park Press, Neptune, since 1990. Prior to that, he was employed at Central Jersey Bank, Long Branch, for several years. He enjoyed collecting political and military memorabilia. He was predeceased by his father, Russell P. Minton Sr. He is survived by his mother, Frances L. Minton, of Red Bank; a daughter, Stacey A. Minton, of Piscataway; a sister, Carol Avella, of Hudson, Ohio; two brothers, John C. Minton, of Red Bank, and David W. Minton, of West Long Branch; and one niece and nephew. A Mas of Christian Burial was held at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury 07702.

Marian R. White

Mrs. White, 76, of Middletown, died Dec. 15. Born in Jersey City, she resided there prior to moving to Middletown six years ago. She was a retired clerk at Hudson County Welfare Department, where she was employed 15 years. She is survived by her former husband, Donald White of Ridgefield Park; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Dolores White Jr. of Glen Rock, Richard and Mary White of Kearny, and Robert and Ann White of Manalapan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Joseph Ilian of Chicago, and Janet and Gregory White-DePaul of Matawan; and eight grandchildren. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.

John Joseph Little

Mr. Little, 83, of Brick, and Jupiter, Fla., died Nov. 27 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in New York, he resided in Red Bank, West Long Branch, and Jupiter, Fla., before moving to Brick in 1996. Mr. Little was an equipment specialist at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, before his retirement. He served with the U.S. Army from 1942-46. He was a member of the Long Branch Elks Lodge 742 and a member of the Long Branch Sportsman’s Club. Mr. Little was predeceased by his wife, Mary Critelli Little, in 1987; two brothers, William Little and Francis Little; and three sisters, Marion Eberle, Dorothy Fischer and Elizabeth Little. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Joyce Little of Wall; a daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and David Enderly of the Wayside section of Ocean Township; his companion, Angelina Coppola of Brick; four grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, followed by interment at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. The Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury 07702.
