Katherine Herbert Cittadino

Mrs. Cittadino, 71, of West Long Branch, died Sept. 10 at New York University Hospital, New York City. Born in Newark, she resided in Long Branch before moving to West Long Branch 46 years ago. Mrs. Cittadino was a registered nurse. She was a communicant of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, West End section of Long Branch. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph P. Cittadino, in 2002. Mrs. Cittadino is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Rita Cittadino, of the Wayside section of Ocean Township; two brothers, Edward D. Herbert and Harry Herbert, both of Virginia; two sisters, Evelyn Erbe, of Spring Lake, and Helen Pryor, of Brielle; and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Michael’s Church. Entombment was at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. The Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, was in charge of arrangements. Carmella Romano Piscitelli

Mrs. Piscitelli, 85, of the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, died Sept. 21 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, she resided there before moving to Oakhurst 19 years ago. Mrs. Piscitelli was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick Piscitelli Sr., in 1998; her son, Dominick Piscitelli, in 2003; and a grandson, Joseph Pyanoe. Mrs. Piscitelli is survived by her daughter, Dolores Pyanoe, of Wall; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Trinity Church, followed by interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch. The Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, was in charge of arrangements.

Angelina “Pat” Rubino Kahermanes

Mrs. Kahermanes, 82, of Eatontown, died Sept. 24 at St. Barnabas Hospice Care and Palliative Center, Long Branch. She was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Kahermanes was employed in the gift shop at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was predeceased by her husband, James Kahermanes, in 1989. She is survived by a son, Frank Rubino, of Eatontown; a sister, Theresa “Tess” Acerra, Long Branch; and two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, followed by interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch. The Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to St. Barnabas Hospice, 300 Second Ave., CW6, Long Branch 07740.

Libby Gold

Mrs. Gold, 93, of Long Branch died Sept. 6 at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, New York City. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. She resided in Long Branch since 1940. She was a retired secretary at the Department of the Army, Fort Monmouth, where she was employed 24 years. She was a 58-year member of Congregation Brothers of Israel, in the Elberon section of Long Branch, where she was also a member of the congregation’s sisterhood. She was past president of the Friendship Club at Bradley Beach Senior Center. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jeremy Markman, Aug. 2. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Emanuel Gold; two daughters, Sondra Markman of Edison, and Arline Mollen of Monroe Township; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Funeral Chapels, Ocean. Memorial donations may be made to the Baby Markman Scholarship Fund, c/o Flynn Charities, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.
