Mary C. “May” Yetman

Mrs. Yetman, 86, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 23 at home. Born in Long Branch, she grew up and resided in Red Bank before moving to Freehold Township. Prior to retiring, she worked as a dietitian at Freehold Area Hospital (now CentraState Medical Center), Freehold Township, and was previously a secretary for the Brockway Glass Co., also in Freehold Township. Mrs. Yetman was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Freehold, and had also served for many years as a Girl Scout leader. She was predeceased in 1977 by her husband, Chester Yetman. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Gus Dreyer of Manalapan, and Cathy and Robert Womack of Freehold Township; a brother, Harry Greenwood of Red Bank; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38102-1905.

Judith Ann Levi O’Leary

Mrs. O’Leary, 69, of New Orleans died Aug. 27 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in New Orleans, she relocated to New Jersey 15 months ago. Mrs. O’Leary was predeceased by her husband, I. Daniel O’Leary, and a brother, Irvine Levi Jr. She is survived by two sons, Jeff Levi of New Orleans and Sidney P. Rossi of Monmouth Beach; a daughter, Donna Northrop of Brandon, Miss.; a sister, Kathrine Pietri of New Orleans; and seven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at the Church of Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. The Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, was in charge of arrangements.

James Patrick Keelen

Mr. Keelen, 24, of the Belford section of Middletown, died Aug. 23 in Keyport. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident of Belford. Mr. Keelen was a carpenter at Dream Builders, Keansburg. He was a Long Branch fireman. He is survived by his father, James Keelen of Long Branch; his mother, Michelle Keelen of Middletown; a sister, Jamie Keelen of Middletown; two brothers, Patrick and Kevin Keelen, both Middletown; his paternal grandmother, Patricia Keelen of Sea Bright; his maternal grandparents, Alice and Jerry Barry of Hazlet; and several aunts and uncles. A funeral gathering will be held Aug. 27 at 9:30 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown.

Joyce Ann Erb Di Guilmi

Mrs. Di Guilmi, 71, of Long Branch died Sept. 3 at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. She resided in Hudson County prior to moving to Long Branch 33 years ago. She was a retail salesperson at Homestead Pharmacy, Long Branch, for 10 years, retiring three years ago. She attended Old First United Methodist Church, West Long Branch. She was a long-time member and officer of the Green and White Association, and charter member of the selection committee for the Long Branch High School Athletic Hall of Fame. She enjoyed time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Di Guilmi Jr.; a son, Michael J. Di Guilmi III of Long Branch; five daughters and two sons-in-law, Doreen and Joseph S. Valencia of Neptune, Gina Sims, Dawn Ciaramella and Gayle Di Guilmi, all of Long Branch, and Joyce and Timothy Wink Sr. of Jackson, and 11 grandchildren. A funeral service was at Old First Church, West Long Branch. Interment was at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.
