St. James Church sale slated for Sept. 24, 25
     St. James Memorial Church, 69 Broad St., Eatontown, will hold a rummage sale Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon. Sept. 24 will also be Bag Day, during which attendees may fill a bag for $3, or two bags for $5.

Fire Academy graduates six from area
     HOWELL — Six area men were among 26 new volunteer firefighters who just graduated from the Monmouth County Fire Academy here. They successfully completed a 120-hour course at the state-of-the-art facility.
