Elks, VFW to co-host
community luau July 31

Long Branch Elks No. 742 and Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 2140, Long Branch, will hold a community luau July 31 from 1-6 p.m. at 150 Garfield Ave., Long Branch.

The cost to attend is $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 8-16, and free for children younger than age 8. The event will feature roast pig, kabobs, ham, crabs, chicken dumplings and other foods. Music will be provided by Hey Bette.
