The Tri-City Umpires Association has openings for both new and experienced umpires for the 2004 softball and baseball season.
Tri-City officiates both men and women softball leagues from 8 years-old to adult, and baseball leagues from Little League to 17-18 years-old.
Training will be offered, free of charge for new umpires and experienced umpires who want a refreshing.
Classes will begin on March 17 at 7:15 p.m. at the Port-au-Peck firehouse on Myrtle Ave in Oceanport.

Red Bank Catholic High School is seeking a head golf coach, an assistant baseball coach, an assistant softball coach and an assistant girls lacrosse coach for the spring season. An 18-and-over women’s slow-pitch softball team (Adamsville Maintenance Inc.) is looking for players. The season runs from the last week in April through first week in August. The Central Jersey Tornados 14U Class A fastpitch girls team is looking to complete its roster with a couple dedicated, competitive players for 2004 spring/summer Pony division softball. The team will play in 8-10 tournaments including hosting Pony N.J. State Championship and the Pony Nationals in Virginia. On Feb. 29, the Monmouth County Park System will hold its annual E. Murray Todd Half-Marathon at Brookdale Community College, in the Lincroft section on Middletown. The event begins at 9 a.m. and will take racers through the 13.1 miles of rural and residential areas of Lincroft, Holmdel and Colts Neck.
