Sport Shorts The Saturday in the Park Women’s 5K Run and Walk, "Women Taking Steps to Help Women," will take place on Aug. 30 at Holmdel Park at 9 a.m. This year marks the Jersey Shore Running Club’s 10th anniversary event, which will benefit women’s shelters and charities in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The event includes 5K race, health walk and races for children. The second-place boat was Captain Kevin Cole’s #13, with a weight of 27.65 pounds, followed by Captain Ken Foster’s #38 (27.11 pounds) in third place, and Captain Robert Smialkowski’s #17 noat (26.11 pounds) in fourth place.
