Monmouth Girl Scouts council names new board The Monmouth Council of Girl Scouts, Farmingdale, has announced its Board of Directors for 2003-2005. The board includes officers, members-at-large and four teen-age girls who currently are senior Girl Scouts. The president of the council is Judy Kramer, Colts Neck. Continuing their terms as board officers are Red Bank resident Eric Wagner, first vice president; and Fair Haven resident Phoebe Edwards, secretary. Local members-at-large who will serve the 2003-05 term are Gigi Matthews, Rumson; Raymond Smith, Monmouth Beach; and Kelsie Foster, Long Branch. Kramer appointed four senior Girl Scouts to serve on the Monmouth Council Board for one year. They are Ashley Decker, Oakhurst section of Ocean Township; Emma Fawcett, Howell; Annette Lewis, Neptune; and Lipica Shah, Clarksburg section of Millstone. The board is responsible for charter obligations, corporate relationships, policy, strategic planning, and fund development. It also selects and evaluates the performance of the executive director, oversees the overall finances and management function of Monmouth Council, opens the lines of communication between adult volunteers and the board, and promotes Monmouth Council of Girl Scouts in the community.
