Italian American society
seeks crafters, vendors

Crafters and vendors are wanted for the IAMA craft show scheduled for Saturday, April 12 ,from 9 to 3 p.m., rain or shine. Table donations are $20. For information call Chris at (732) 229-1450 from 9 to 5 p.m., or Ceil (732) 229-3135 from 5 to 9 p.m.

St. Luke’s church sets

February family events

Several events are scheduled for the month of February at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church located on Broadway and Washington Street.

On Feb. 15 at 7 p.m., an "Evening with Randolph Murphy" — singing songs to warm your heart. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for children. Refreshments will be served.

On Feb. 22 at 6 p.m., "It Takes a Whole Village to Raise a Child," a black history month theatrical presentation by Elizabeth Cheavers. The cost for adults and children is $10.

On Feb. 16 at 10:45 a.m. noted educator and guest speaker Mrs. Audrey W. Clark will speak at the church.

On March 15 it’s time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The corned beef and cabbage dinner is scheduled for 6 p.m. (one sitting only). The cost for dinner is $8.50 for adults and $4 for children between the ages of 4-12. For tickets call (732) 222-1341.

Church museum holding

‘Show Your Colors’

The Old First Union Methodist Church Museum, 207 Locust Ave., West Long Branch, will be open on Sunday, Feb. 16, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and from noon to 2 p.m. Many interesting permanent items as well as a special exhibit, "Show Your Colors," for history month will be on display, according to church officials.

Anyone with patriotic memorabilia to lend for the display should bring the items to the museum on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 10 to 11 a.m. For more information, call (732) 229-7562.

Local blood drives

slated for Feb. 18, 21

Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrews-bury, has announced two local blood drives. A drive will be held Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at Riverview Medical Center, 1 Riverview Plaza, Red Bank.

A drive will also be held Feb. 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch. Each donor will receive a gift.

The donation process takes about an hour. Donors must also complete a medical history interview and have a mini-physical (temperature, iron, pulse and blood pressure screening).

All donors must present identification with signature at time of registration.
