Ocean tops Monmouth 7-6 in Legion all-star game

     With the American Legion baseball regular season wrapping up, the area’s top players gathered on Sunday to participate in the Third Annual Monmouth-Ocean County All-Star Game at Firemen’s Field in Ocean Township.

     Though the sky darkened and the threat of rain loomed, Seashore held its North Shore Club swim meet against Monmouth Beach Bathing Pavilion last weekend, only to have the meet halted halfway through due to lightning.
