Paintings, photos on display at cultural center

The Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, 128 Ocean Ave., will present paintings by artists John Allen and Kyle Galante from May 29-June 16.

Featured June 19-July 7 will be photographs by Joan La Banca, paintings by Lisa O’Connell, and mixed media by Lois Bajor.

Support group for HIV patients to meet June 12

A new support group for individuals infected and affected by HIV will meet June 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch. The group will meet the second Wednesday of each month.

The two-hour session will be led by registered nurse Barbara Slotnick and nutritionist Kaory Berrios, both Monmouth Medical employees. Dinner will be served.
